12 Steps to Self-Care

1. If it feels wrong, don’t do it. Listen to your gut.

2. Say “exactly” what you mean. This often proves more difficult than someone thinks. That is why there is so much miss-communication between people.

3. Don’t be a people pleaser. People don’t love you more if you constantly try to make them happy. They might think that you are a push-over.

4. Trust your instincts. This goes back to listen to your gut.

5. Never speak bad about yourself. Never criticise yourself too harshly. Never judge yourself.

6. Never give up on your dreams. You will have obstacles coming your way. Stay on course with your dreams by creating a vision board.

7. Don’t be afraid to say “No”. Many people say yes although they would rather say No.

8. Don’t be afraid to say “Yes”.

9. Be kind to yourself. This includes kind words, healthy food to nourish your mind, body and soul.

10. Let go of what you can’ t control.

11. Stay away from drama and negativity. At the same time show compassion for others. To find a balance though is not easy.

12. LOVE. Love yourself. Love others without judgement. Love results in being at peace with yourself and others.
